We Need a New Kind of Social Network

I have to admit, networking and social networking in general drive me a little bit nuts. There just seems to be so much deceit and pretense, whereas we all know the other person wants something. There is nothing wrong with that, but I just wish more people would just say so up front. Take a look at my recent post over at UpMarket where I propose a radically different approach to social networking. In a previous post on this blog, I long for the simpler days of the first grade playground where we all just said clearly what we wanted. Is there anything wrong with that? Check both posts and tell me what you think. Am I the only one that sees a problem here?
